​ Capt. TJ fishes from a 18ft. Hewes flats boat designed to go in some of the shallowest waters, but also ride smoothly in the deeper water if there is a slip chop. Its wide beam of almost 8 feet across makes fishing from the bow very comfortable and stable. There is plenty of dry storage for your gear under the hatches, and it is easily accessible throughout the day. Bring all you want to eat and drink, there is more than enough storage in the cooler that is supplied with ice aboard the vessel. The boat and your U.S. Coast Guard licensed Captain have all the safety equipment and licensing needed to have a great day while still being safe. Powering the boat is a reliable 150 horsepower VMax 2 stroke outboard engine. This allows you to get where you are going in a short amount of time, leaving plenty of time for fishing.
On our 36 ft Contender, we can take you offshore to catch Mahi Mahi, Tuna, Swordfish, and much more. The long length of the boat makes the ride to the fishing grounds surprisingly comfortable. The boat's open design creates ample room for catching memorable big fish along with the ability to follow the exhilarating fight. The open center console style allows you to get where you're going fast, leaving more time to catch fish. The boat is a pure fishing machine.
